NEON GENESIS EVANGELION GENDO AKARI

If you like Anime you would certainly enjoy NEON GENESIS EVANGELION! The animation in EVANGELION is great althought it is a very short running series. Hideaki Anno was clinically depressed and off his prozac when he created EVANGELION and his feelings are shown well in EVANGELION. It takes place in the year 2015, Japan is reduced in size due to the melting of the Polar ice caps. EVANGELION follows the life of the 14 year old Shinji Ikari. In the first episode he is reunited with his father who abandoned him as a child. His father, Gendo Ikari is the founder of NERV, an orginazation bent on destroying the Angels who constantly attack Earth. He founded NERV after what was known as the second impact, when the first Angel, Adam, blew up in Antartica and destroyed the continent. Along with Shinji, their are two other Eva pilots, Rei and Asuka. Rei is the pilot of Evangelion unit 00 and Asuka pilots Evangelion unit 02. I won't get into the plot's behind the episodes yet so as not to give anything away those who haven't seen it yet! Bookmark and come back often because there will be new things posted.
